The Health Axis Europe (HAE) is a strategic alliance initiated by the biomedical clusters Cambridge (UK), Leuven (Belgium), Heidelberg (Germany), Maastricht (Netherlands), and Copenhagen (Denmark) in order to cross-leverage innovation resources and thus jointly increase the international competitiveness.
HAE Accelerator continues in 2017
The Health Axis Europe (HAE) Accelerator 2013 was a pan-European program to identify, train and connect the best health technology start-up teams from leading innovation hubs in Europe with international venture capital funds. The program is open for participants from geographically defined areas around the HAE partner clusters Cambridge (UK), Leuven (Belgium), Maastricht (Netherlands), Copenhagen (Denmark), and Heidelberg (Germany).
The 2nd edition of an HAE Accelerator will start 2017.Together with EIT Health the Health Axis Europe starts the European Health Catapult 2017.
EIT Health and the Health Axis Europe (HAE) invite micro and small enterprises, spin-offs and start-ups from all over Europe to submit applications for the European Health Catapult, a training and selection program for the best European teams in Medtech, Biotech and Digital Health.
Participation in the European Health Catapult will accelerate your market entry and access to funding. Join us on a journey of intensive one-on-one business plan mentoring, pitch and deal negotiation training as well as exposure to high level international networks of investors, potential partners and fellow entrepreneurs.

University of Copenhagen joins European health elite

These will be the keywords when the University of Copenhagen formally becomes part of the strategic alliance ‚Health Axis Europe‘ on Thursday 27 August 2015 at 14.00.
